  • Located in the Auckland Conservancy, this marine reserve was established in 2005. An initial baseline habitat survey was completed. Monitoring at this reserve targets subtidal estuarine demersal fish species and intertidal soft sediment benthic communities associated with soft substrates (unconsolidated) – mud, sand, gravels, cobbles in coastal or estuarine environments; and intertidal soft sediment benthic communities. Sampling frequency = irregular. Depths sampled: 0-20m. Methods used to collect data:BUV/DUV, transect, photograph.
