Netcdf time series of river discharge, snow cover areas and lake inflow/outflows and levels combined with climate change simulations.
Data will describe how much water available across the country
Co-develop data set of climate change ipact on water resources in conjunction with economic assessments
Climate change projections for Waitiaki inflows under 4 Representative concentration Pathway- 6 Global circulation Model from 1971 to 2100.
We output global gridded model data from chemistry-climate models. Data mainly include 3-dimensional distribution of trace gases and meteorological parameters. We submit our data to international data archives (CEDA/BADC) under various collaborative projects (e.g., CMIP6, CCMI-2 projects). We also store copies of some data on local machines for analyses.
Oceanographic mooring and voyage data from Cook Strait. We will look to make this open after an embargo time period. These data will be coming in over the next 3 years.
ROMS simulation results for Pelorus and Queen Charlotte Sounds (hydrodynamics and water-quality). Similuations for a number of different fish-farming scenarios. Uses existing ROMS models, just changing details of some of the farms
New module added to the New Zealand Wate rModel to take into account probabilistic distribution of presence of tile drainage within catchment.
Outputs from the global 17 km resolution wave forecast model, part of the EcoConnect forecast system. Spatial extent: longitude 0 to 360, latitude -81.25 to +81.25.Temporal extent: 1 x daily 144-hour forecast starting at 00Z. Inputs from the UK Met Office global Numerical Weather Prediction model. Outputs consist of hourly values of: (1) wave statistics over the full model domain, (2) directional wave spectra at selected locations. This project has gone on for many years under different project ocdes: HAFS1403, HAFS1503, HAFS1603, CAFS1703, CAFS1803, and CARH1902
