Distribution of salinity minimum data in Tasman Bay-Golden Bay

GeoTIFF showing salinity minima from winter cruises in 2001 and 2002. The distribution surface was generated from kriging interpolation (ArcMap ver 10.0, ESRI Inc. 1999-2010) based on data from 30 stations averaged over winter sampling cruises during 2001 and 2002. The winter minimum values ranged from 28.6 to 35.1 parts per thousand. Similar data were collected from summer cruises in 2001 and 2002.
