<dc:description xmlns:geonet="http://www.fao.org/geonetwork">NIWA collects large volumes of boat ramp interview data on paper forms every year, and the time, expense and delays associated with entering these data into FNZ’s Rec_data database are considerable. The NIWA software development team have been developing of an android recreational boat ramp interview survey app, which will completed under this task. An image based fishing location entry module will be developed and tested as part of this task, so the app can be deployed and field tested by a small number of interviewers, before it is rolled out nationally.</dc:description>
