Glacial Geomorphology Central South Island Map

This map shows an interpretation of the geomorphology of the central South Island area, compiled at a scale of 1:50 000 for presentation at a scale of 1:100 000. Of necessity, many boundaries have been generalised, and some features have been omitted in the interests of clarity. This map should not be used in isolation for building site assessment, land-use planning, engineering projects, mining operations or any other purposes for which detailed site-specific investigations are required.
