Supplemental Information

Data were collected during the RV Tangaroa survey of the north-east coast of New Zealand from Spirits Bay south to the Poor Knights Islands and by RV Pelorus within the Bay of Islands. The soundings from Kongsberg EM300 and EM3000D were cleaned using CARIS HIPS, converted to ascii file, imported to ESRI ArcGIS and converted to ESRI grid format, stored in ESRI file geodatabase.
